The mission of this ongoing group is to provide a space for students who are in or seeking recovery from substance use or other addictive behaviors—or who are exploring their relationship to substances—to come together to discuss how recovery-related topics intersect with college life and life in general. This is a peer-led group that allows students to engage with each other on a continuous basis, build community and to hold each other accountable to their respective individual goals. The sense of belonging and identification that is fostered in these groups is a vital staple of a recovering student’s plan for balance and overall wellness.
